I used to have lots of time to write songs. I would write them quickly and often. Some were good, some were (very) bad. The inspiration and time were endless it seemed.

Now, I treasure that rare moment of inspiration and quiet. Sometimes there’s a moment of quiet, but no inspiration. You have to coax it out sometimes.

One such night, I literally had no ideas. What is there to write about? Literally, nothing in my head. I wrote on the page: “I’m having a hard time just writing it all down.”
Over the next hour, thoughts of grace, faith, hope and love filled the page...topics that are both overwhelming and worth fighting for.

Here’s to something out of nothing!
